* So beautiful! Surrounded by rapids all around, and beautifully constructed. The food is also delicious. Truly indulgent. Angela Forcier

* Beautiful. Magical. A piece of paradise.... It can't be explained, must be experienced. Perfect for a romantic get-away for two.

* It was a great view of the river Nile and the staff are so amazing during our stay there. it was a nice quiet place to get away from the craziness of the city so i really my stay and would definitely come back.

* Our stay at Wildwaters was the culmination of an amazing honeymoon experience travelling around Uganda. The journey to the hotel certainly makes it feel very exclusive and an adventure - being rowed to the island across the calmer stretches of white water gives a great sense of what your stay will be like!

The lodges are incredibly beautiful structures, with soaring ceiling beams and the veranda/balconies looking directly out to a stretch of white water you are never overlooked and it all feels very private. It took my breath away when we first walked in! And the noise is something else - the white water rushing

past is nonstop and very loud! The first day it's very novel and fun, the second I actually found the fact you never escape it while on the island started to annoy me (!) but the third and fourth days you start getting used to it.

The food was good, but actually out of all the places in Uganda we stayed it was not the best - which was a shame as the location and reviews meant I had quite high expectations. I think as it was very westernised, rather than playing to strengths of locally available Ugandan produce so it was a little bland at times. Although I did enjoy the choice of cheese or after dinner shot drink!

We did a village walk and a full day white water rafting while here and both were excellent. Mike

*  Dear all, We had an amazing time with you! After 2 weeks of travelling through Uganda this was the perfect place to end our journey. We loved the water of the Nile running through. The view from our lodge was fantastic with in the morning a spectacle of Red Tailed Monkeys climbing from one tree to another. The meals and service from the staff is excellent and appreciated very much. Kind regards,     Yolanda and Pieter from the Netherlands
